Intelligent AI heads to Guidewire Connections

At the Guidewire Connections event, Intelligent AI will meet insurers and brokers and discuss a Guidewire accelerator now in development for COPE pre-fill, property risk scoring and rebuild cost checks.

Intelligent AI will attend Guidewire Connections at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas from 26 to 29 October 2026. The team aims to engage with up to 200 insurer and broker contacts and show how better property information at the point of submission can speed up underwriting, support agentic workflows and help reveal potential underinsurance.

A practical starting point for better submissions

Property submissions often arrive with incomplete addresses, missing building characteristics and declared values that have not been checked against current rebuild costs. Intelligent AI will demonstrate the capabilities behind its planned accelerator: address validation, automatic pre-fill of Construction, Occupancy, Protections and Exposure (COPE) data, and building-level risk scores that help underwriters identify which locations need attention.

The accelerator is being developed to make Intelligent AI’s Risk_API available in UK and US PolicyCenter workflows and to bring its US Intelligent Rebuild Cost Platform into the submission process. The intended result is a more complete property record and an early comparison between the declared building value and a calculated rebuild estimate. Underwriters could then prioritise exceptions and review potential gaps in sums insured before binding.

Trusted property context for agentic underwriting

Address-matched building facts, occupancy information and risk indicators can give AI-assisted underwriting a more dependable starting point. Rather than relying only on sparse submission forms, automated journeys can use consistent property context to ask targeted follow-up questions, route complex cases and explain why a building has been flagged for review.

Intelligent AI is a Guidewire Technology partner, having previously participated in the Insurtech Vanguards programme. The company is developing the accelerator for Guidewire Marketplace; availability will follow completion of the integration and applicable validation. Guidewire says more than 570 insurers use its products globally, making Connections an opportunity to discuss the approach with insurers from the US, UK and beyond.
