An insurance software provider

Property risk data embedded in ten weeks

Property risk data now runs inside the provider's own platform under its own brand, giving brokers COPE profiles in seconds with no new data hires.

PartnerRISK API

Situation

A software provider served broker clients across workflow, documents and client records. The platform held no property risk data. Users left it to research the buildings they were insuring, then re-entered what they found.

Building the capability internally was disproportionate to the return. Construction, occupancy, protection, flood, subsidence, crime and heritage data each carry separate sources, licences and refresh cycles, and resolving them to a single property requires address matching at scale.

Approach

Risk_API was embedded at the point of address entry, returning a validated COPE profile inside the existing workflow under the provider’s own branding.

Results

Live in ten weeks with no additional data hires. Profiles return in seconds while the broker is still on the screen. Around 60% of broker users have used the module, and it now features as standard in product demonstrations.

Feedback has centred on time saved gathering construction and flood detail at quote stage. The module complements the platform’s core workflow proposition rather than replacing it.

Implication

The provider gained a differentiator competitors cannot match without equivalent data, and shipped it in a quarter rather than committing to a permanent data function.
